The purpose of the Child and Youth Programs (CYP) Compliance Coordinator position is to serve as the health, safety, and nutrition subject matter expert with responsibility for supporting all health, safety, and nutrition program related matters pertaining to CYP. Incumbent conducts assessments, plans, coordinates, and implements the overall CYP health program for children ages 6 weeks to 18 years of age. Serves as primary liaison for CYP Operations on all issues of health, safety, and nutrition program services. Monitors safety, health, nutritional, and medical inclusion programs and applicable Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Marine Corps (USMC) regulations required for CYP. Applies professional knowledge and skill to support the health and well-being of children and youth in accordance with applicable regulations. Serves as a member of the CYP management team to ensure compliance with policies, regulations and achievement of program goals. Monitors compliance with applicable USMC regulations, identifies discrepancies, and develops and implements corrective actions to maintain continuous compliance. Conducts professional and accurate briefings with commanders, Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) leadership, and medical center leadership, as required. Ensures CYP supports participant health, safety, mental health, and learning. Coordinates Inclusion Action Team meetings and coordinates with CYP Nurses, Behavior Specialists, and the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) to support CYP with a range of early childhood inclusion issues. Provides coordination and quality assurance for Temperature Screeners when utilized in CYP facilities. Serves as primary liaison to installation partners, including medical professionals, school system officials, occupational health, state agencies involved in United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) reimbursement, and community agencies on all issues related to health, safety and nutrition program services. Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines requirements for resources. Monitors progress and evaluates outcomes to complete achievements. Develops and analyzes data to be used in preparing analytical and interpretative reports and guides for program operations. Monitors operational activities and resouces to mitigate risks. Analyzes, identifies problems, alternatives and makes recommendations to improve programming. Reviews and updates health-related policy to support CYP capabilities. Reviews proposed changes in program plans and agency procedures to determine compliance with federal, state, statutory and regulatory requirements. Develops health, safety, and nutrition training programs and methods for competency validation among CYP professionals. Evaluates child and adult safety initiatives and provides guidance to CYP management personnel to improve child, workplace, and playground safety practices. Oversees USDA program and develops policies to protect the health of children with dietary restrictions and allergies for implementation across CYP. Supervises CYP Community Nurses and USDA Manager. Must have an active license as a professional nurse in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from a professional nursing program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC). Three years experience in a public health position or as a child care health consultant. One year supervisory experience. Knowledge of current child health promotion guidelines and child/youth development is required. Understanding of health care needs for child care facilities. Skill to develop educational activities that promote better health practices and evaluate conditions requiring medical attention. Experience in writing and developing inclusion support plans and health related policies preferred. May be required to obtain a government driver's license and charge card. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal communication skills.Knowledge of the military organizational mission and lifestyle that contribute to family stress, unique problem, and crisis situations. Familiarity with and skill to follow DoD Instructions, Secretary of the Navy Instructions, Marine Corps Orders, federal and state human services laws and procedures, etc. Familiarity with DoD, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and other federal and state regulations related to CYP.Must pass a pre-employment physical and annual physicals thereafter, provide evidence of immunization, and be free from communicable disease. Must complete all DoD training requirements withing specified time including orientation, initial and annual ongoing training requirements, and required certifications, if any. Must maintain current Cardiopulmonary (CPR) and First Aid certifications. This is a white-collar position where occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may be required. Must be able to obtain and maintain TIER-1 Child Care (CNACI) background checks. May be required to obtain and maintain TIER-3 security clearance as required for medical record access. Note:

The incumbent is subject to random drug testing because duties must be performed with a high level of productivity, reliability and judgment to prevent adversely affecting personnel safety, and causing risk/damage to government property, and/or significant adverse impact to day-to-day operations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
