The areas of responsibility are located in different areas of the Base to include, but not limited to; Paradise Point, Camp Johnson, Camp Geiger, and Courthouse Bay. Will handle routine maintenance in public spaces, guest rooms, back of house spaces, and grounds.Maintains rooms in optimal operating condition by performing repairs as needed. Replace or repair damaged bathroom fixtures and executes minor plumbing as needed. Maintains the overall appearance of the room; replaces broken mirrors, fixtures, does touch up painting, etc. Use both power and hand tools regularly in a safe, efficient manner.Troubleshoot rooms' heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems.Understands the Room Preventative Maintenance program and performs preventative maintenance, which includes but is not limited to painting, caulking, wall repair, and overall upkeep of guest room furniture and equipment. Preventive Maintenance checklist will be completed daily. Maintain the Room Preventative Maintenance Program and keep up to date records on file.Maintain the condition of the hotel lobbies, hotel grounds, and parking lots.Maintain operating equipment in working condition by performing routine equipment checks.Report major repair needs to Maintenance Supervisor/EMI.Ground maintenance such as cleaning and maintenance of parking lots or landscaping, etc.Performs replacement of basic networking equipment, such as routers, switches, antennas, for WiFi. Troubleshoot wireless network problems related to existing equipment. Coordinate with service provider on issue of conductivity.Conducts safety inspection on Bachelor Housing Division vehicles.Assist in the moving of furniture and other large objects.Performs other related duties as assigned. At least one-year experience in building maintenance. Posses a general knowledge of tools and equipment used in the various trades. Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures is also required in this position. Must be capable of obtaining a US Government driver's license for vehicles up to three tons. Must possess sufficient knowledge relating to supply accounting, storage, inventory, posting, and issuance of expendable materials and supplies.Travels frequently by vehicle and by foot to different areas and buildings. Walking over uneven surfaces and climbing stairs, both inside and outside, are required of the employee. Long periods of standing, stooping, reaching, and lifting heavy objects to 45 lbs., independently and over 45 lbs. with assistance. The work involves normal risks and discomforts associated with maintenance and inspection duties. Exposure to rain, snow, heat, cold, dust, and dirt while visiting buildings may be experienced by the employee.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
