Major Duties What to Expect Solicits recruits and coordinates instructors and activity leaders for well-rounded programming.
Develops program plans and annual budget requirements with supporting data for inclusion in overall program plans formulated at higher organizational levels.
Publicizes activities and events, educational classes/workshops for adults, youth and families.
Coordinates use of facilities by individuals and groups requesting a facility for private functions.
Supervises, councils, and advises all assigned personnel including volunteers.
Must be able to lift and carry object up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications What are we looking for? Three years experience that demonstrates knowledge in planning and conducting a variety of recreational/community activates with preference in Community Recreation.
One year supervisory experience.
Knowledge of coordinating logistical support for events to include equipment setup, supply availability, cleaning, decorations, and marketing efforts with various points of contact.
Knowledge of office equipment, computer operations, common software programs, and procedures in order to maintain efficient functioning of the operation.
Must be familiar with personnel management procedures and policies.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
