Summary:
Goldbelt Nisgaa is seeking a Close Quarters Combat Instructor (CQCI) to provide instruction in both classroom setting, range operations and in a maritime environment during extreme weather conditions (hot/cold) while wearing personal protective equipment.
Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for serving as an authoritative consultant in designing, preparing and delivering programs of instruction including lessons plans, evaluation plans, and other related educational plans designed to train, assess, and sustain skills needed for the deployable specialized forces
Shall ensure compliance with CG Ordinance Manual, Department of the Army Pamphlet 38-563 (Range Safety)
Will provide instructional services to meet the Coast Guards unique needs in support of high-risk training and live-fire exercises
Will provide expert skills and knowledge to deliver instruction to students, focusing on ensuring students achieve the necessary skills mandated by the course curricula and course objectives
Required to evaluate students performance by verifying the students understanding of the course material, competency of learned skills, and the student's ability to demonstrate applied knowledge
Document observation results and report to senior staff, with observations and recommendations
Shall ensure all training mishaps are logged and reported appropriately
Hours can include up to 12 hours a day and some course convening to be held in reverse cycle, starting past midnight, and running into the early mornings and at times will include holidays.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

Ability to train and mentor others
Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs, work in extreme weather elements in a range setting or maritime environment, and wear full protective gear weighing up to 40lbs for full workdays
Strong written and oral presentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline Minimum
Qualifications:

Minimum three (3) years of full-time instructional experience as a designated defensive marksmanship instructor
Minimum of three (3) years of operational experience related to the area of instruction
Upon hire, will be required to become familiar with all Marine Corps and Coast Guard range safety regulations/policies to include successfully obtaining
Range Safety Officer certification
Upon hire, will be required to become familiar with Coast Guard FORCECOM SOPs and SMTC local policies, certify as High-Risk Instructor in accordance with FORCECOM SOP Volume 14, maintain weapon certifications and attend sustainment training quarterlyRequisition ID:
